Macie Barney is from sunny St. George, Utah! She is the oldest of 5 kids, and loves to do anything outside! Camping, hiking, trail running, and rock climbing are among her favorites. Macie's favorite dessert is 芒果冰 (mango ice cream snow cone thing) and her dream vacation would be hopping from country to country in Asia.
She is currently a Junior at BYU studying Chinese and Psychology. She joined the Flagship program because she hopes to be able to assist the Chinese speaking population in regards to mental health challenges found throughout the world.

If I were a kitchen appliance I would be a whisk because I like to mix things up a lot!

I have an unusual talent of being able to tell when it's going to rain because my leg will start hurting.
