Zach is from Belmont, Massachusetts. He learned Chinese during his mission in Taipei, Taiwan. He is studying neuroscience and learned about related research happening in China. He wants to be a professor in the US and coordinate with Chinese research labs. He is currently taking online classes through the Taiwan capstone program and preparing to move out to Taiwan in January to complete the in-country portion of his Flagship capstone year.
