Trent Weber is from Waxhaw, North Carolina, just south of Charlotte, and he is currently a sophomore at BYU. He is applying to the accounting and strategy majors in June and will finalize his major in the fall. He said, "My love for Chinese began to develop when I started a small business in high school. I imported products from China and often ran into communication problems with suppliers." His language skills improved and his love to Asian culture grew as he served a mission in Taiwan, Taipei. He played on the BYU lacrosse team and loves playing any kind of sport and doing things outside, especially skiing and rock climbing.
