Ms. Wang received her M.A. in Second Language Teaching from Brigham Young University. She also received training in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from National Taiwan Normal University and Tamkang University. Prior to joining BYU Chinese Flagship Center, she taught at all levels and all age groups at schools such as Brigham Young University, Wasatch Elementary School, American Heritage School and TamKang University. She has experience in teaching at the Chinese Flagship program, world language Chinese classes, Chinese immersion programs, BYU Foreign Language Student Residence and Chinese summer camp. Her research interests include literacy acquisition, speaking and the use of technology to improve teaching and learning Chinese. Ms. Wang is dedicated to helping students not only learn Chinese as a language but also learn Chinese as a cultural product.
