Wenlin -Widely used tool for reading Chinese. Chinese text can be pasted in to document, or opened directly. Includes a bilingual dictionary, handwriting input, text search, indexing tools, etc.

MandarinTools -Website with excellent reading tools, links, and many other useful items for learners of all levels.

Clavis Sinica - Commercial site for software gives users definitions of words pasted in similar to the translation tool "Wenlin 文林". It does have a very entertaining Chinese character test.
