The BYU Flagship Center is a participant in several State of Utah initiatives, including the Utah Governor's Language Summit and the Utah International Education Summit. In addition the Center is a supporter of the Utah Language Roadmap, which was a product of the two summits.
The BYU Chinese Flagship Center:
College students participate in both a domestic and an overseas component. The program culminates with an academic year long capstone experience, including direct enrollment at Nanjing University and an internship in China.
Chinese Flagship students attend their final semester at Nanjing University with a culminating internship in an area of interest to them which allows students to utilize their Chinese language skills in a professional setting.
