Flagship Tracks

The Flagship Program offers various tracks which help prepare students for the rigors of the overseas capstone experience. The track a student is admitted to depends on their language proficiency level when they are interviewed.

Early Track Requirements

For beginning language students preparing to enter intermediate coursework. Students may enter the Early Track when they reach a 200 Chinese course level. Students take a two-credit weekly course that helps develop proficiency in reading and everyday conversation. They also receive tutoring, academic advising, and other Flagship services. Funding is available for Flagship-approved summer programs that boost students' language skills in order to help them move quickly to the next track.
