She has over 20 years experience in high level management most of which involved overseeing federally funded grant projects. She is originally from Texas, is married and has 3 children. After serving a mission in Taiwan, she graduated from BYU. Becky's career has centered on project management in advertising, small businesses and higher education in California and Utah. She likes to relax by spending time with her family, reading books, or hiking with her husband, Jeff, in the beautiful canyons. He served in the Taizhong, Taiwan mission and returned to BYU in 2010. Quinn also spent a semester in Nanjing, China studying, traveling, and enjoying the culture and the food. From September 2001 to June 2010, she did doctoral work in a combined master’s and doctorate program in linguistics and applied linguistics at Sun Yat-sen University, where she specialized in teaching Chinese as a second language. She received a master’s degree in modern Chinese from Nanjing University. Vivian is currently teaching 311R for the Chinese Flagship Center as well as some classes for the Chinese Department. She studied at BYU and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese with a minor in Sociology. Since graduation, she has been working in the fields of education and translation. She has been involved with the Chinese Immersion Program in the State of Utah since it first began. She also served in the Taiwan Taipei Mission. In her free time, Becky loves to play sports, especially basketball.
